Moved to Sacramento to my Sister's on my 19th birthday. The city life was a big change for a small town country boy from Middletown Rancheria. After being stagnant for many many years our Tribe voted in a new Tribal government. we started having regular monthly meetings and around 1992 we started discussing a Casino. After 15 plus years in Restaurant Management, I returned home to be a part of our new business to be. November of 1994 Twin Pine Casino was opened. 24 plus years later our tribe will be celebrating 25 years of hard work. We now have our 3rd and permanent facility, Twin Pine Casino and Hotel. Our tribe now has the means to take care of our People. Life for our Children has been turned around with a better chance in the future. Our Elders are being taken care of with better living conditions and full Medical, Dental and Vision care. My life has been changed for the better and I'm very grateful for our blessings as now my grandchildren have a great chance to better themselves. Richard Yee Jr.
